Vivek Oberoi a western transcend with his roots in India blossom with distinctive performance, utilized, vision & style all of his own. Son of veteran actor Suresh Oberoi who himself came to Bombay with just Rs. 400 and a dream. Fortunately with his talent flamed by luck he treasure trove successful bollywood directors with great scruple. He meshed well with all the characters and executed with race and class to create a paean to the audience. Now he is among superstar lead parade. He is more powerful debut maker, bollywood has ever witnessed. Dealing with variety of characters which are quite juxta passed to one another proves his flexibility & ability to live in those characters.
He attended Mayo College in Ajmer, graduated from London and enrolled in a theatre group there. At a workshop in the group, the director of NYU noticed him. Vivek pursued his post graduation in acting there.
After being turned down by Ram Gopal Verma for his first film in Company saying that he looks too soft to handle the role of a gangster, vivek worked himself for ten days to convince Verma with joy to accept him for the role and saying that he is the one for whom the role is perfect to play.
He already signed with the big names like Fero Nadiawala, Vidhu Vinod Chopra,Ram Gopal Verma, Zoyan Ahktar, Sachin Bajaj & bagged many more.
Being on the news for being threatened to life by bicep man Salman and having an active affair with miss
gorgeous Aishwarya after being engaged to his girlfriend Guru Preeth on a grand occasion in the presence of few big stars and other pals of industry in Mumbai. It’s been a short and most successful career, which took off its grand to reach to sky. |
